Alimah Saman Khalid

Born and raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Saman Khalid completed her Bsc in Social Sciences from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in 2008, and received a gold medal for her MPhil in Education degree from BNU, Lahore. She also spent 4 years of classical Islamic learning, studying Quran Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh, and Arabic. She has taught and mentored young women and given several talks, ranging from Self Development to Drawing Closer to Allah swt. She is also well versed with Tajweed, the correct pronunciation of the Arabic letters and has tutored several women to improve their recitation of the Quran.

Her deep interest in Philosophy, Psychology, Self Development and passion to help other women has inspired her to seek training as a Life Coaching Practitioner. Saman is currently a Visiting Faculty at IBA, Social Sciences Department, Karachi.

Al-Emaan Institute for women is a non-profit, non-partisan and non-political Islamic educational institution dedicated to propagation of the divine teachings of Islam to inspire positive reformation in our society through ‘Ilm, Da’wah and Tarbiyah.
